O.k..So He Pulled the Rainbow Card

Right after I wrote my moany whiny woe is me post, and as I was sitting here trying to come up with a subject for an article I am supposed to write tonight…The kids yelled at me to come look out the den window.
My kids don;t get out much, o.k.?? They get excited over things…fox, coyote, baby goats…yeah….we did not just fall off the turnip truck, we are still on it here.
Anyway they were pointing at the sky…
“A RAINBOW MOM!”
Kyrie said “You should take a picture of it and put it on your blog!” Yeah, future blog girl there, for sure. Once she learns to spell, watch out.
I cannot resist any of my children, and Kyrie is just too cute anyway..so I went out..and saw, not one but TWO fully arched rainbows in the sky. TWO.
And it has not rained in weeks.
So I said, ..”O.k. God, I get it…sorry for the whining, but ya got to admit I still don’t have a….”
Just about then I heard Marc’s truck in the driveway. He was pulling in with a …what? A refrigerator strapped to the back of it. And it cost MUCH less than the 800-1200 dollars I was expecting…apparently a friend knew of a sale…knew of a deal…and the rest is history..to the tune of 250.00 bucks. A full ONE THOUSAND less than the last one.
Is it new? Yes.
Is it a name brand? Yes.
Is it bigger than a bread box? Yes. it is close to the same size as the other one.
Am I blessed? Oh yeah. Every single day..just sometimes I forget.
And we did not have to charge it.

Yep Claire..it was AWESOME..and you know what ? It is the same fridge as we bought for 1200 dollars 6 years ago!

AHHHHH hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa. God has such a sense of humour sometimes. He’s caught me like that….letting juuuust enough time go between an upset and His redemption of the situation for my humanity to come BLAZING through! I am SO glad He provided for you guys, and that He sent you a reminder of His love just when you really needed it!!!
unny, I saw a rainbow 2 days ago when in a real funk, first I’d seen in a long, long time. You didn’t fall off the turnip truck, city folk were standing on sidewalks staring at this one. It lasted a long time, to.
Glad to hear about the fridge. Who knew heaven had an appliance department?
