I have a favor to ask. With writing the cookbook and trying to meet deadlines my time is shot. Could y’all help me?
What I need is when you see something that is interesting, or you POST something that is interesting let me know by email (my email is in the side bar). I can’t promise to post everything but it will give me a place to start. There is so much awesome stuff and I want to do what I can to promote new, innovative, interesting, or not very well known blogs. There are some talented bloggers out there that no one knows about. We need to change that!
Cynthia always has something fantastic at Tastes Like Home and this corn on the cob cooked in coconut milk is no exception
Canelle et Vanille absolutely whetted my appetite with the image of this Delice D’Ete. Raspberry coulis, pistachio jaconde, vanilla bavarian cream? Oh MY! What diet?
It isn’t that I don’t like the convenience of foods like ready made cereal, cookies and things, I just don’t like the cardboard taste factor and the chemicals. Check out these homemade poptarts at Chez Pim! I imagine they would freeze wonderfully well and you would have the convenience without the chemicals. YAY!
A Beautiful Mosaic has a beautiful Macaroni and Cheese…just the way I remember it from eons ago when I was a kid.
You know that being a veteran, being married to a veteran, being the daughter and daughter in law of veterans and having a son in the Air Force currently overseas I feel it is really important to support our military. I am so blessed and impressed with Operation Baking Gals. It is a way to send baked goods to the guys that are serving. I hope to get involved when my schedule lets up a little. Consider getting involved, please. It means a lot.
Kevin at Closet Cooking has a beautiful (what’s new) image of one of my favorites, Fried Green Tomatoes.
In case you missed it, Dharm posted pictures of a beautiful birthday cake he made as well as (finally) his beautiful wife. She looks like a model, and it is no wonder he has been keeping her hidden from the rest of the world.
I love pizza. One of the really cool things about making it at home is being able to use so many different toppings, which is exactly what Kristin did with this mushroom gargonzola and caramelized onion pizza.
It doesn’t get much better than using bread in a salad. Check out this Panzanella on DishingUp Delights.
I love bacon..and autumn is coming..so I have tucked away this recipe for potato bacon cheddar tart from Jumbo Empanadas because on the first chilly day it’s what’s for dinner!
That’s it for this week. Have a great weekend!

Remember to take some Marye time, too. I’m behind with reading, but if/when I catch up, these look like great stopping places!
Sigh, Jen, Marye time is not on the schedule right now. I did get a 15 minute massage on Friday.
