Awww… Raych…geez. I had mine on friday. It does not hurt as bad as you think it will. They numb the area. You feel pressure and my doc hit a nerve which sort of gave me brain freeze in my chest if that makes sense…but..when the stuff wears off you are gonna hurt. Have extra strength tylenol, soup, and hot packs on hand and take it easy for at least a day.
Three days later I am sore, but not too bad. Wish I could say that there was no pain at all…I am praying for you with great understanding.

So, A.) this looks awesome, and B.) I was trying to search through old posts to figure out what kind of biopsy you were getting and why, because I remember reading about it when you first posted it, but at that time I wasn’t about to get a needle stuck in my neck so I didn’t retain anything. NOW, I am about to get a needle stuck in my neck. I have a nodule on my thyroid and when they ultra-sounded it, it was bigger than they’d thought so now they want to suck some of it out (through aforementioned needle) to see what it is, and ACK! My appointment is tomorrow, and I am…how you say…nervous. If this sounds at all similar to your biopsy, can you make encouraging sounds in my direction?
