Well, you wanted to know..You always wondered, right? Here it is. My office.
We live in a 1910 victorian, Queen Anne Freestyle which was sort of a conglomeration between foursquare, Queen Anne, and Colonial revival. The house was moved and they changed the roofline so it now has dormers and looks like an Arts and Crafts on steroids.

It desperately needs restoration…We have done alot but there is alot more to be done.

The desk and shelving were built in when the home served as a Home for Girls from 1970-1990-something. I am gong to change all that at some point. Behind me is a doorway, a set of french doors leading to what we use as the den, it is a sunroom. That also means that the kids (small and large) walk in and out all day long as I am working.

What you can’t see is the cool Art’s and Crafts border I have up at the ceiling level. The mason jar you see on the right is my constant companion..I drink water by the gallon and it is always full of ice and water. I am an ice junkie and I eat 10 lbs of ice a day in the summer. I am only up to 5 lbs now.

I would love to have a feminine sweet office to show you but alas, this is it.

I am doing a tour of my house on Kettle and Cup this week so if you want to see some of the other rooms check it out:
