I have gotten several awards lately and I have let them stack up due ot ..you know..time crunch…which is not to be confused with abdominal crunch which I need to do more of…

however..here are the awards I have gotten and the ones I am giving….Ready?

From Tiffany of Lattes and Life I got the Smile Award.She said I could post it on any of my blogs…LOL!

Characteristics for the Smile Award:
1. Must display a cheerful attitude. (not necessarily at all times–we are all human)

Now, I am not sure where she got her information because those don’t describe me..but don’t tell her, she will be crushed.  But I am so happy to be a recipient of it that I am not going to argue #3,4, 7….

2. Courtney because she is so sweet.  She always has an encouraging thing to say no matter what is going on in her own life.   Besides we share some amazing similarities in our lives.

3. Fern because she has some amazing ideas with small spaces….I mean, homesteading with an acre or tow is one thing..but whne ou only have a balcony or an patio?

4. Cathy  because I really do laugh out loud at so many of her posts. I can even forgive her for being married to…you  know…a doctor.

5. Jan at Jan and Tom’s Place ..because she always has something fun going on.

Valli’s food is….

yum.

She does alot of Greek food and that is a cuisine that I love, but I don;t cook nearly enough. She has inspired me many times over.

And I am so very honored.

Blogging is an odd thing. I have to admit that I don’t have much of a life outside of my home..I work at home, I homeschool, I raise a bit of my own food. It may sound odd, but with the exception of 2 or 3 people, the majority of the people I consider friends are bloggers or I know exclusively on the internet.

When Marc got sick last summer not one person from our church (with the exception of a couple that we are close friends with) brought us a meal.  Yet friends from the internet sent emails, e cards, real money, and even ordered us pizza. How can that not be “real relationship”?

Anyway..ahem…

So now I want to give this to 5 bloggers. I could give it to so many more! SOme I chose and found that they had all ready gotten the award…so..seriously there could be hundreds listed here!

Courtney from Coco Cooks is an amazing blogger. She is helpful, kind, and always has something awesome on her blog.  You see links to her blog everywhere and yet I don;t think she thinks of herself as “an important blogger”.. well she is.I am sure that she must have this award somewhere but I did not see it.

Wendy from Momlady has been a person who emails me, and prays for me, and seems always know what to say to be encouraging. How do you put a price on that?

Inge of course.  Vanielje Kitchen is always a must see, as soon as I have enough coffee to remember how to spell it.

Bonita of Streams of Living Water is someone I usually visit from Kettle and Cup.. She has tons of ministry in her to the point that it just splashes out when you read her blog.  I enjoy it alot.

Kevin of Closet Cooking has a blog that never fails to make me drool. I have to seriously wipe the computer screen after a visit to his blog.  Always my last stop of the evening before turning off the computer.

I am adding two blogs  because…

how can you leave out a person who lists ALL yes ALL of your blogs, and encourages you like a cheerleader AND calls you on the phone? Marla is like that.  She is also a  very cool baker-ista…but she rarely blogs about it.

And Monica. Knitted me a shawl! Is always emailing, and is a great friend who lifts me up in prayer alot. She is a sporadic blogger so I don;t love her for her blog..but for her friendship.
