So, today is none other than National Cheesecake Day! In celebration I wanted to post yet another cheesecake.
I love doing cheesecakes. Even though people think they are really hard, and impressive–they are a cinch. Just a few tricks and tips will guarantee your success. Once you have the basic formula down you can change flavors and crust and topping to your heart’s content.

chocolate bytes this morning and drooling over the picture of the brownie Heather had posted, seen here in all it’s glory…

and of course it made me really really hungry. Really.  These are some of my favorites from Cooks Illustrated, I love the coffee/rich chocolate combo. If you can find them a couple of companies make coffee flavored chips and they are fantastic in these bars!
