I don’t have diabetes but I am considered to be at risk for it. All of my babies were gargantuan, although I blame that on Marc. The biggest was #7 at 11 lbs 4 oz, and the smallest was #8 at 8 lbs 9 ozs.

I have symptoms of classic insulin resistance. All of them. Blah.

I try to eat low carb, I bet ya didn’t know that. I haven’t been great lately, but usually all of the yummy stuff I blog about I just taste enough to know whether it is worth passing on the recipe or not. So I am a closet fan of Julie’s blog.

Julie is having a cookbook contest over at her blog, Battling Diabetes. For all of you who love to gave at the recipes here and then try to figure out how to replicate them in a form you can have weep no more! The cookbook she is giving away sounds absolutely heavenly.
