I have been surfing..you know, blog surfing. There have been some incredible round-ups this week, that you don’t want to miss. I was checking some of my favorite blogs and realized that I hadn’t shared with you, and when you have a really big family like I do, sharing is part and parcel of the way things work…so…
A Slice of Cherry Pie has the most mouth watering, amazing roundup. It’s In the Bag for January. The challenge was pears, nuts and lemon and the results were incredible.

Several brilliant bakers are doing a new bloggy challenge, TWD, Tuesdays with Dorrie. They are baking their way through the Dorrie Greenspan book, From My Home to Yours. There is not a roundup per se, but look at this amazing work of art from A Whisk and a Spoon.

Oh, and Congrats to Heather of Gild the Voodoolily for winning the Royal Foodie Joust with her Lentil Fritters with Venison Chorizo, Eggplant Sofrito and Cinnamon Aioli. I am glad I won when it first started..there is much more stiff competition now!

The Passionate Cook posted the entries for the WTSIM Roundup…January’s theme was Terrine, if you will remember and i entered both a savory eggplant and lentil terrine with moroccan spices, and a fantastic (if I do say so myself) earl grey and bittersweet chocolate terrine. You cannot image the variety of terrines there, both savory and sweet..WOW.

January’s Winner for Cupcake Hero was Molly, of Batter Splattered with Coffee Mocha Cupcakes…mmmm. You will bite the computer screen. O.k..maybe not..I almost did. If you want to enter that the theme this month is hooch. Yep, booze. It must be part of the cake, filling, or frosting.

Tomorrow is Presto Pasta Night..and I probably won’t be submitting to that, one more time the week has slipped away..but check it out because Ruth always has awesome submissions to it.

O.k..I think my cakes have cooled now, and time to frost them… Looks like the amazing team here at B5 has fixed the problem…and all is right with the world.

Ah yes..if you aren’t reading this on http://baking delights, com it is stolen content, stolen by people who apparently little talent..but lots of chutzpah.
