The Omnivore’s Hundred

“Here’s a chance for a little interactivity for all the bloggers out there. Below is a list of 100 things that I think every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life. The list includes fine food, strange food, everyday food and even some pretty bad food – but a good omnivore should really try it all. Don’t worry if you haven’t, mind you; neither have I, though I’ll be sure to work on it. Don’t worry if you don’t recognise everything in the hundred, either; Wikipedia has the answers.

Here’s what I want you to do:

1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items you would never consider eating.
4) Optional extra: Post a comment here at http://www.verygoodtaste.co.uk/ linking to your results. ”

Six random things?

1. I have touch sensitivity..and it is getting worse as I get older. I can’t touch styrofoam or the cups at Starbucks, or the wrappers on straws, or certain magazines…there is a list of things I can’t touch…ewww. It makes me gag. I think that having hypersensitive sensory system is why I can taste things in my head though. I know ti is weird, but if I think of two flavors I know how thy are going to taste together. I can taste them in my brain..

2. I can mirror write as well as I can write the regular way. I used to be able to write equally well with both hands..at the same time.

3. I eat butter..by the stick…when I am nervous

4. I am ADD. I never knew it until I was an adult because ADD was not recognized when I was a kid. I just had to learn to compensate for it and work harder at concentrating on what I was doing. It gives me very little sympathy for people that expect others to bend and flex to accomodate them.

5. I love a good, crashing thunderstorm, Texas style.

6. I am more well known as an artist than a writer, having had my work in some top Dallas area galleries.

There ya go.
