Mexican Wedding Cakes are not cakes at all. They are somewhat like a short bread cookie but not. And sometimes they are called Mexican Wedding Cookies.
Are you confused?
They are a delicate cookie that has a delicate, yet definitely there flavor..vanilla, butter…nuts…

This is another one from my mom’s file. It is bittersweet to see her handwriting, beginning to fade, and the stains on the card that marked it as a favorite. I have updated it some and made it easier to understand..Mom was born in 1918 and so when she was writing these recipes things were a bit different!!
