O.k. folks..The Baking Delights Battle for the Presidency is on. You have all three candidates recipes. The poll is on the lower right of this site. Vote, people, it is your right as an American.
Seriously, if you are still up in the air as to who to vote for…
I will be honest with you. I am. I am, as I said, very conservative (stop laughing,I am..) but McCain doesn’t do a lot for me.
I really dislike Hillary. Sorry. I am not anti-women, I don’t hate her because she is ambitious, I don’t even hate her because she is beautiful…(old commercial came to mind then, sorry). I don’t hate her at all. I just dislike her policies, as well as her attitudes. Religion seems to be something people throw around during elections..but I find that religion is a hard thing to vote for.
Here’s another shocker for ya, I am one of the despised conservative Christians. Right wing, intolerant, hateful, war mongering, racist, chauvanistic pond scum, environmental sloth. Me.
Here is a Candidate Match Game that might help you some.
But when you vote for someone based on what you think their religious convictions are you might be surprised. Not only that, c’mon, how much power does the president really have? Not alot. So whether someone says they are Christian or not has very little meaning to me. I want to see that they have acted ethically in the past, and hope that they will continue to do so in the future.
I don’t trust Obama. He talks really good. We asAmericans are very good at voting for our emotions, and he is very good at encouraging that. He is calm, peaceful seeming, laid back…he comes across as caring, and compassionate. But I don’t see a background there. I don’t see a history of decisiveness, and forward movement.
Then there is McCain. When I take the tests he seems to be the one that shares most of my beliefs. However in reading his stance on the issues, we only agree on the same amount of issues that I agree with Obama on. Comparing Clinton and McCain I find nearly the same thing.
So, people, I have decided to run for president. For two very important reasons.
1) I make better food than any of the other candidates.
2. I agree with all my stances on all the issues, and THAT is important.
I don’t want universal health care, thank you. Answer? Herbs, nutrition, manditory organics, naturopaths, homeopathic care..conventional medical intervention only when absolutely necessary.
The social security system, as well as the welfare system was never meant to be a permanent solution.
I think parents are the ones who should say how, when, where their kids are educated. And putting them in school at age four and having them in school longer days or six day weeks, or all summer is just ignorant.
Iraq? Marc and I both were in military intelligence. Marc specialized in Middle Eastern issues. My son has been in Iraq. More oversight does not work with governments that are hiding their weaponry. PUH-leeze. After eight kids I know what “But I won’t do that again, you can trust me now” means.
Energy? More money to sustainable energy, major tax breaks for using wind, solar, and thermal power. Where will I take the money from?
No more Lobbyists. Period. It will be punishable by cleaning the white house. I will save money on cleaning help, as well as no more money spent on taking lobbyists to lunch. Let them eat peanut butter and jelly.
Stem cell research? Let me just say I don’t use vaccines for ethical purposes, stem cell research will be relegated to botanical studies only.
Abortion. I will do this fairly. I will take a poll of the adults involved and find out how many of them would have wanted to be aborted. That should decide it pretty quick..And I think that is fair.
Gun Control? Hold it with both hands. Keeps it steadier that way. Works for me. I am an excellent shot.
Immigration? No. If you are here illegally you have no rights under the law. Period. Harsh? You bet. I live in Texas where illegal aliens get fantastic free medical care while we do not.
I would also institute a two hour lunch, mandatory chocolate, and glamour shots photographers to do drivers license pictures.
Having eight kids means that there is nothing anyone can say to change my mind about things and I am impervious to pain. (Had 6 of them at home, no anesthetics for any of them.)
It’s your choice. For America.

I don’t get a very good match with any of the candidates either, so that’s it…I’m voting for you!
YAY Cyndi, since you are first, I will Make you the head of whatever you want…just let me know.
