What a wonderful story! I’m so happy for you! I gave birth to my 4 month old Daughter in the Hospital, it wasn’t a bad experience, it just wasn’t as comfortable, and wonderful as what you have described. I’m planing on having a home birth with my future pregnancies. Thank you so much for your post!

Congrats on your new baby! My son was born at home in the water as well. He’s my first child. The warm water provided the most comforting environment I could imagine. I felt so safe being in my own home & my mid-wife team gave me the space I needed to labor my way. I hope that any future children are born the same way. It’s always nice to hear other water-birth stories. Thank you for your post.
