About Me: A Breastfeeding Blogger

My name is Angela White. I’m a 35-year-old married mother of two wonderful girls, ages 4.5 and almost 2. I’m not a medical professional or technical breastfeeding expert, but I am an expert on my own two nurslings. I have experience (good or bad!) with engorgement, plugged ducts, recurrent mastitis, possible thrush, breastfeeding through post-partum Graves’ disease, breastfeeding while on medication, breastfeeding during pregnancy, and tandem nursing.
While I believe it would be wonderful if all mothers chose to breastfeed when possible, I’m not interested in debating the merits of breastfeeding versus formula-feeding, or in denigrating any mother. I believe in educating and supporting women who breastfeed, for as long as they choose to do so. Naturally, that means touting the benefits of breastfeeding until the milk runs dry until the cows come home for a very long time.

Welcome Angela! You’re gonna fit into the Science & Health family just fine.
Thanks Bald Man! I’m honored that you’ve left the first comment!
Welcome Angela!
OK, I don’t have kids, and can’t relate to breastfeeding at all, but love the way you are approaching the topics. Lots of room for lively discussion without name calling.
You’ll be great!
Thanks Mary Jo! I appreciate your support.
