I have breastfed my baby for a whole year now day and night basically following LAM and have had no periods. I wasn’t really concerned about having another baby but now I’m just wondering, How will you know when you are pregnant again if you never have another period? I just don’t want to be doing anything dumb like drinking alcohol (not even a little bit) in case I am pregnant. I don’t have the book anymore because I had only borrowed it from my sister. Does it say anything about this?

Rix, I am sorry you are facing this worry. I hope you seek medical advice as soon as possible to confirm or rule out a pregnancy. A breastfeeding blog simply is not the place to discuss how to proceed, other than to help you understand that it IS possible to breastfeed throughout a pregnancy (see the book “Adventures in Tandem Nursing: Breastfeeding during Pregnancy and Beyond”). Hi there, there is a possibility that you could be pregnant Honey, do you know when you ovulated? I’m in the same boat too hun, feeling really sick and certain foods make me sick too and moody, too soon for me to take a test, have you taken one yet? Keep me posted ok. Talk soon.

i have a one month old baby n my husband had a sex after 22 days of delivery without any precutions, so is there any chance of geting pragnet. n moreover it was sesioring…

Hi there can anyone help me, My husband and I would like another baby but I’m still breastfeeding my 14 month old son but only once at night. I have ovulated and had sex around that time, the only thing is I have had a period at all, since before I was pregnant with my 4th child. Some advice would be awesome. I do feel that I have some signs of pregnancy as in feeling sick and also the smell of some foods cooking make me want to vomit.

I have a 6 month old who is on demand Breast fed. He is eatting some solids but not alot. I want to get pregnant again. I have not yet had my period. What can I do to get pregnant again. The baby is not ready to stop breast feeding but is not eatting as much at night now, maybe 1-2 times.
