There is a small community of breastfeeding bloggers and it’s a pleasure for me to interact with them. They are:
Sinead is a mother of three who lives in Northern Ireland. She writes her personal BreastfeedingMums Blog in addition to working on her website BreastfeedingMums.com.
Jennifer started The Lactivist as a site to promote breastfeeding through humor. The site is a good place for new moms to read along as she talks about nursing her newborn son (her second child) and also for anyone who believes in lactation activism.
Andi of Mama Knows Breast and I have an eerie amount in common. Breastfeeding bloggers, former lawyers, mothers of two and thyroid problems (I’m in remission from Graves’ Disease while she talks about being newly diagnosed with Hashimoto’s).
Tanya is a lactation consultant who writes the breastfeeding blog sponsored by Motherwear. Tanya breastfed her son, now three-and-a-half, into toddlerhood.

Hi Angela, It has been a pleasure to get to know you too. Until fairly recently I only used the internet for shopping. Nowadays I’m so busy blogging and working on my website that I don’t have time to shop! How things have changed!
I know what you mean – I used to spend a lot of time reading other people’s blogs and now I am so busy writing my own that it’s a great luxury to read other people’s!
Hi Angela,
I recently told someone that I had met other breast feeding friends who lived all over the country, and even overseas. She very innocently asked, “Where did you get together?” I chuckled. The internet is now the virtual coffee shop. Just wait until we all do this with video on our computers. I’m going to have to start showering more regularly. I’m still in my pajamas!

LOL – sweats here! It is nice to be able to “chat” informally!
