Cue the Applause

Some women breastfeed for the health benefits for their babies and themselves. Some women breastfeed for the cost savings. Some women do it as part of a parenting style. And some women do it for a combination of those reasons. Me? I do it for the applause.

My happy toddler

Aw. That is a really sweet story. Wouldn’t it be great if all nursing moms were applauded?
What a reward for your “work”! What a sweet child she is. You and your family are so lucky to have her.
That is so adorable!
I’ve followed your blog since I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter (now 27 months old). I’ve enjoyed it very much. Thanks for all the information and advice, as well as the view into your life. Your kiddos are beautiful. =0)
My baby does something similar. When she’s done on one side, she pops off and lays her cheek against me all snuggly and says “love the nursie.” Even though she’s getting older, I love how she still finds comfort in nursing.
Okay, I think that is the sweetest thing I have heard in a long time!
That is the cutest story ever!
That’s so sweet. My son somehow got the idea to wave “bye-bye” to my breast after he pops off, and he’s been doing that a lot recently.
How incredibly sweet! I read applause as “applesauce” the first two times and I was REALLY CONFUSED. Haha.
I really hope I can nurse my next baby longer and into the toddler stage. Maybe the next one will not be such a gymnast nurser as my daughter!
I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who read that as applesauce! Thanks Vanderbilt Wife!
Your daughter is adorable and I’d like her to come hang out with my son please- this mamma could use a little applause too!
