Doris, it's wonderful to hear about another happy mother-toddler nursing pair. I hope weaning goes smoothly for you both!

Hi, Wish I knew about this blog carnival earlier. I have been nursing Clayton for the last 26 mths. Had also decided to wean him on the onset of this year. It's been a great journey and I'm so thankful I can take it so far, considering the fact that he used to have problems latching due to my inverted nipples.

I haven't got round to exercising regular for the last 2 years due to the time constraints with working at home and being a full-time caregiver to Clayton.

Making it a New Year resolution to exercise regularly.

Thanks for sharing.

Well, it certainly benefits my husband if I get to work out regularly. First of all, it makes my body strong and healthy, and that's more fun for for him! Secondly, it improves my mood immeasurably. If I don't work out, I get depressed. We've both recognized this, so if I start to feel/act depressed, Travis will tactfully suggest that I find time to run again. It works every time!

So, he either spends time watching the kids, which he enjoys anyway, or he has to spend non-kid time listening to me go on and on about depressing things that wouldn't consume me if I weren't depressed. It's a clear win for him!

Our deal is that he watches the kids after dinner until bedtime. I usually have dinner on the table when he gets home at 5:30, so that gives me from 6:15 - 8:00 to run or read or whatever.
