Formula Versus Breast Milk: Poll Results

Sixty-four percent of 111 voters said their most recent or only child had only had breast milk and had never had any artificial milk. That left 36% of voters whose child has had at least some artificial milk at some point. Here is the complete breakdown:

Wow ~ these are cool results. I’m one of the majority — my son nursed until he was exactly one. No formula ever.
I have to say that though I did not enjoy breastfeeding from a personal standpoint, I see the benefits it had for both my son and me.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that I get incredibly sick over and over again every winter… but that I RARELY got even a little cold when I was nursing. Now that’s a testament to the power of the body!
