How Has Breastfeeding Affected Your Sex Life? A Poll

The reaction to this “Bond with your baby. Bond with your man” poster was strong and the comments section developed an interesting discussion. I would like to open the question up to everyone — how has breastfeeding affected your sex life? Does your partner enjoy your new bustline, and/or has breastfeeding left you “touched out” at the end of the day? Do you feel the breastfeeding hormones have affected you in any way? Or are you simply too tired as a new parent to make this anything but a moot question?
Feel free to leave a comment to explain your answer.

It’s very difficult to identify what changes are due to “breastfeeding” and what can be put down to the more general cause of “having a baby”.
I had to say it hampered it. My DH wants nothing to do with my chest for fear of running into milk!! And since I’ve nursed a total of 48 months out of the past 7 years, that’s a significant amount of time away from that area!!
My drive was awesome while I was pregnant, and it is not so bad now that I am breastfeeding. Before I got pregnant my drive was gone to the point that I just didnt care. When my drive came back while pregnant, I got excited about it. And I have been breastfeeding for only three weeks now and I feel the drive is still there….I just hope it stays there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
