Jamie Foxx Has Comic Thoughts on Extended Breastfeeding

In a comic routine actor Jamie Foxx took pot-shots at Angelina Jolie and other Hollywood celebrities adopting children from foreign countries.
You famous when you can just go over to another country and pick up some kids like you’re shopping for vegetables…. I wish [Angelina Jolie] was adopting when I was coming up. I would have breast-fed till I was 37.
Um, okay Jamie. You lose points for sexualizing breastfeeding but gain points for at least understanding the fact that adoptive breastfeeding is possible!

I doubt that he actually knows it is possible. Very few people do. It was just a funny thing to say.
It’s even worse if he didn’t know it is possible! I suppose he probably doesn’t know you can lactate even if you’ve never been pregnant. In Jolie’s case, she’d given birth and breastfed that baby, making it a little easier to surmise that she could also breastfeed any babies adopted after that.
