There’s more good news from Wisconsin as last night the Madison Common Council passed an ordinance protecting breastfeeding public similar to the ordinance passed by the county board in Dane County, Wisconsin. The new law bans interfering with a mother who is breastfeeding or pumping in public in Madison, the capital city of Wisconsin.

Way to go, Madison! I live in WI, and am very proud to hear this. As a new mother to a three month old, I haven’t yet had the need to breastfeed in public, but this ordinance gives me extra courage for when the time comes.
