As I write this, women are gathering at Burlington International Airport by Delta’s check-in counter for a nurse-in at 10 a.m. EST, according to a follow-up article in today’s Burlington Free Press. Organizer Sharon Panitch wanted to stage this peaceful demonstration in response to the incident I mentioned earlier in which a mother was kicked off a plane for nursing her toddler and refusing to cover up.
