Poll Results: Exercise and New Mothers

To accompany the post “Exercise for New and Nursing Mothers” Breastfeeding 1-2-3 ran a poll asking how often you exercise each week. The results were quite revealing:
Exercise? What’s that? 5% (2 votes)
Does lifting the baby count? 14% (5 votes)
Isn’t chasing around 2 or more kids enough? 24% (9 votes)
Once per week: 3% (1 vote)
Twice: 16% (6 votes)
Three times: 8% (3 votes)
Four times: 8% (3 votes)
Five times: 11% (4 votes)
Six times: 3% (1 vote)
Seven times: 8% (3 votes)
The following pie chart illustrates the comparison of the number of women who do not follow a formal exercise program to the number of women who exercise once or more per week:
