So, Is This Obscene?

I remembered to change my Facebook profile picture to attend the virtual nurse-in at Facebook today. I chose this photo. What do you think? Is it obscene? Obscene by Facebook’s standards? I guess we’ll see whether I get asked to remove it or not….

Dang it. I forgot. I’m going to get it done now.
OK. I did it– used the third picture from this post: http://mariawj.blogspot.com/2007/09/lactivist.html
Beautiful pictures Maria!!
Thanks!
Some of the quotes from Facebook spokesperson Barry Schnitt state that it is only the nipple and areola visible during breastfeeding that caused the removal of the photo while other quotes, such as the statement in the blog below indicate that it is the entire exposed breast. In either case, most of the photos removed are because of specific complaints to Facebook.

The profile photos posted on Saturday’s virtual nurse-in ranged from religious art to discrete breastfeeding with no visible skin to fully exposed breast with nursing infant attached. According to those various quotes about Facebook’s policy for removing these photos, you’ll have to wait and see if someone in your network or group of friends on Facebook feels your photo qualifies as obscene.
I’m disappointed that photos less racy than mine even were deleted. There appears to be no real rhyme or reason, and I am fairly certain that people troll the group photos and randomly become “offended” just to be jerks.
