Chocolate is a great treat for anniversaries, no matter what’s being celebrated. So how about chocolates made especially for the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing?

Forty years ago Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins landed on the moon. On July 20, 1969, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the moon, while Collins orbited above them.
To celebrate the occasion, Choclatique has created some space-themed chocolates called Moon Rocks.
The Moon Rocks are composed of a variety of dark, milk, and white chocolates made to represent samples of moon rocks brought back from various trips to the moon. Shaped in a multi-faceted design meant to replicate a crystalline structure, the rocks come in bright, metallic “galactic” colors. There are fifteen out-of-this-world flavors, including Apollo Almond, Moon Rock Mousse, Cosmic Caramel Crunch, and Stellar Strawberry Short Cake, to name just a few.
The 15-piece Moon Rocks Collection retails for $30 and can be purchased at Choclatique.com.
