double chocolate cookie

There’s not much better than chocolate, unless of course its double chocolate. This is an easy but yummy recipe.

Ingredients:
1-1/4 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or substitute M&M’s)

Preheat oven to 350F. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Blend dry into the creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet (do not grease or the cookies will burn). Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
