I hope everyone had a fun holiday yesterday! My husband has taken the next two days off as well and it’s always harder to have the kids and him home on regular weekdays, so I have to post when I get a minute to myself.
We decided to take the kids to the library and I thought it might be fun to keep an eye out for any books about chocolate or chocolate production, but no such luck. I hopped on Amazon when we got home and have made a list for the next time we go. Has anyone read any of these or can recommend anything else?
~ The Chocolate Touch: “John midas loves chocolate. He loves it so much that he’ll eat it any hour of any day. He doesn’t care if he ruins his appetite. He thinks chocolate is better than any other food! But one day, after wandering into a candy store and buying a piece of their best chocolate, John finds out that there might just be such a thing as too much chocolate…”
~ Chocolate Fever: “Chocolate lovers will identify with Henry Green who eats chocolate wherever and however he wants. What a shock when he breaks out in a rash of brown spots that smell like chocolate!”
~ The True History of Chocolate: “A masterpiece of scholarship, passion, and wit. No stone (or page) is left unturned, no folk history is left unchallenged in search of chocolate’s veritable True History.”
