What an awesome idea — Belgian chocolate shot glasses! These could be used for a liqueur for adult entertaining, or ice cream for kids.
They’re definitely not cheap, though: $48 for a set of 12. They can usually be found at plumparty.com but it looks like they’re sold out for the time being.

I don’t drink. Well maybe like one beer a year. I suppose this might be the best reason I’ve ever seen to start.
Oh very cool! The price is crazy though. I wonder if there’s a way to use some sort of mold to make your own.
Hello, Heather! I make my own by “painting” some silicone muffin pans with melted chocolate. Work quickly, apply evenly. They release well, if sprayed with a very light coating of non-stick spray prior to filling. Build the chocolate to desired thickness and allow to harden until set in the fridge. You can use mini muffin cups, or regular, depending upon what you choose as a filling. I’ve filled them with Gelato, or used them as cups to fill with fruit in season for mini fruit cup. Dark, light, white, I’ve used all shades of chocolate.
Hi Jules! That is such an excellent idea! And since you’re using muffin pans it means bigger chocolate and more filling, which I can totally get behind
Jennifer – tell me about it! I don’t care for hard liquor, especially straight up, but I’d be tempted to give it a shot (totally no pun intended
)
Sherry – Chef Jules to the rescue!
Hi! Im actually doing a chocolate themed wedding and I have found cheaper chocolate shot glasses… a company called urban outfitters sells them for 12 for $12….thats the cheapest ive found so far
April – thank you for that tip! And congrats!
Here’s a set of directions to make Ice glasses out of dixie cups. They call them “shot glasses” but at 3+ oz, it’s probably better for sipping anyways. I’m planning on making a chocolate versions next weekend.
