M&M’s Blondies

For dessert night last night for my family, I decided to mix things up a bit and not do our now-standard M&M’s cookies. While the kids love them, my husband and I were getting a bit tired of them, so I decided to try the other recipe on the M&M’s Baking Bits package — blondies!

True, they’re not terribly different from the cookies, but it was easier to serve up with a scoop of ice cream! I made mine in a 9×9″ pan because my 13×9″ was already in use. I baked it for about six minutes longer and they turned out perfectly.
M&M’s Blondies
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 (12 ounce) package M&M’s plain chocolate candies
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
~ Cream butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
~ Combine flour and baking soda and add to mixture; dough will be thick. Stir in M&Ms and walnuts. Spread in a greased 13×9″ pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

I LOVE blondies!! I’m always posting about them, haha
Love that M&M version!
Those look yum! My son would love them, I made pumpkin blondies last week and he ate them up, but blondies with chocolate in them, he’d like even more:-)
Can you come over and bake up a batch for my family? mmmmm
I have never made blondies but these look both wonderful and easy! Thanks for the recipe.
