Nigella’s Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake

Few things are as indulgent as a delicious, rich chocolate cake! And if Nigella Lawson’s making it then you know it’s going to be all three!
In the video above, Nigella makes her Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake using standard ingredients – flour, sugar, eggs, cocoa, etc – with the addition of 2/3 cup of sour cream. I love chocolate and sour cream, if it’s done right, and I suspect this gives the cake a perfect tang.
She also makes a chocolate frosting to go on the cake out of melted chocolate, powdered sugar, corn syrup, and more sour cream.
I miss seeing Nigella on the Food Network!
