Chocolate Gravy. For Breakfast.

This sounds absolutely amazing for breakfast and even though it’s chocolate I think it’d be perfect for a special occasion, like a birthday or holiday.
This recipe comes from The Bitten Word, which is my new favorite blog find, and it’s called Granny Ragland’s Chocolate Gravy.
It’s so easy it made me do a little dance!
Chocolate Gravy
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups whole milk
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

“New” Chocolate Biscuits Baffle Brits

I am so amused by this story: The Oreo – an American treat staple since 1912 – has just this month been launched in Great Britain, and some Brits don’t know what to make of it!
Apparently it’s too sweet, doesn’t hold up well in tea (most Brits have never seen a biscuit [cookie] dipped in milk before!), the cream filling is too toothpasty, and the color of the cookie is too dark.
In fact, the tea dipping is such an important part of biscuit enjoyment that one British author says:
