Have you heard of the Blogathon? The Blogathon is a yearly event where hundreds of bloggers from around the world stay up for 24 hours straight, updating their blogs every half an hour for a charity of their choice. This year’s Blogathon starts Saturday, July 25th at 6:00am PDT.
I’ve participated every year that it’s been open to the general public and am an admin this year. This means I won’t actually be blogging for a charity (the theory is that I’ll have enough to do already!) but I do get to stay up for the 24 hours anyway.

Blogathon 2007 will be taking place this Saturday July 28th. It begins at 6am Pacific (9am Eastern) and ends Sunday July 29th at 6am. Bloggers all over the world will be updating their weblogs every half an hour for 24 hours, for an end total of 49 posts. Readers, friends, family and whomever else sponsor these bloggers for either a flat amount or an hourly amount. No amount is too small!
