It’s no longer news that chocolate is good for your heart. In reasonable amounts dark chocolate can help with high blood pressure and even heart disease. So, as one of the most stressful yearly duties passes (taxes!!), what better way to treat yourself than with some decadent chocolate!

There are also some old stand-bys that we’ve gone into before – chocolate body paint, cocoa therapy, or take a bath.

What kind of chocolate do you prefer to relax? Baking and cooking or just grabbing a candy bar? Personally, it depends on my mood. Some days I feel like baking up a storm and want to do brownies and chocolate chip cookies or dip some bananas in chocolate for the kids. Some days I just need a candy bar from the cupboard. How about you?

We went camping over the weekend and I didn’t think to take pictures of the s’mores we made. We did have a lot of leftover graham crackers, though (can’t imagine why there was no leftover chocolate bars), which tasted fantastic with leftover ganache.

The ganache has been in the fridge so it’s about the consistency of frosting. Perfect!
