Simply go to their Facebook page (you may need a Facebook account of your own) and fill out the form to get an emailed coupon to redeem for a sampler sized six piece chocolate covered box of fruit!

The small print says that the fruits themselves will vary, and can include anything from apples, bananas, oranges, pineapples, pears, and strawberries. Obviously, they’re dipped in chocolate as well.

They’re giving away 100,000 boxes of the signature dipped fruits, and the promotion for the $15 box ends November 16th and the coupons need to be redeemed by November 21st. I think the coupons are good for both online orders (shipping is extra) or at “brick and mortar” stores as well.

On November 4th, Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops around the U.S. will be giving away free scoops of ice cream. Just show them your “I Voted” sticker, a photo of you in front of your polling station, do the “I Voted dance” (ha!) or just tell them you voted.

Kashi is doing another free sample promotion to receive one of their 1oz Oatmeal Dark Chocolate cookies for free. I submitted my info for one about two weeks ago and my cookie showed up yesterday.

It’s definitely a “health food” cookie! Though it’s not dense or overly-chewy like a lot of health bars are, it’s also not a cookie with a whole lot of sugar in it, so you can really taste the seven whole grains that it boasts (”hard red winter wheat, oats, rye, triticale, barley, long grain brown rice, buckwheat and sesame seeds”), the dark chocolate chips and the whole rolled oats.

I was, of course, happy to see how many chocolate chips it had! I think since they’re using dark chocolate, which has some health benefits, they went for broke and loaded the puppy up. Though they weren’t huge, it was good, quality chocolate and a nice subtle “surprise” amidst a whole lot of other healthy tastes (not that that’s a bad thing!).

Overall, I liked it! The first bite, as with a lot of healthy snacks, was a little off-putting, but I think I would buy some to keep on hand when I feel like a non-sugar-laden snack. Go get your free cookie and see what you think!
