Giada’s Chocolate Pizza

One of my favorite celebrity chefs on the Food Network is Giada De Laurentiis. Aside from the yummy-looking Italian dishes she creates, she also has an affinity for chocolate that many people can relate to! She uses this, well, obsession for all things cocoa to come up with some fun and tasty desserts as well!

Back to School

Back to School

The kids started back to school today. It’s always bittersweet because while it’s nice to sit in silence for the first time in three months I also miss them terribly.
Anyway, surprisingly they all wanted peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches for lunch, and I cut them into little star-shaped “puzzles” using the Lunch Box Builder that Tracey posted.
Now I need to go get some cleaning done (because now it’ll stay that way longer than 15 minutes!) but make sure you stop in tomorrow — the entire Home and Dining channel has something really fun planned!

Back to School With Chocolate

I had a lot of fun coming up with ideas to combine chocolate with going back to school for the First Annual Home & Dining Back To School Showcase!
In The Lunchbox
The most obvious is chocolate in the lunchbox. Mass Recipes has a Lunchbox Chocolate Banana Snackin’ Bar that looks pretty good.
My girls also like the regular old mini candybars for a post-sandwich treat. Just make sure you pack it close to the ice pack for a little while longer.
