We found a couple more surprises in my kids’ M&M’s bags on Sunday. She found what looks to be a Shrek M&M and a pawprint:

They’re a little bit larger than the regular plain M&M’s, just like the Shrek peanut M&M’s claimed to be. I’m not sure how they ended up in the M&M tube at the store since not all of the gold ones in her bag had the images on them, and I’m not sure what the pawprint is for. Puss in Boots, maybe?

Shrek has infiltrated M&M’s now too. Their new “ogre-sized” green and yellow peanut M&M’s claim to be 55% bigger than regular peanut M&M’s by using larger peanuts.
After some exhaustive and grueling investigative research, however, I’ve found that that is not necessarily true.

Though I can see this being an issue for peanut connoisseurs, I really have no problem with it.

Has anyone tried the promotional Shrek Snickers bars? Green coloring has been added to the nougat inside the bar though from what I’ve read it doesn’t seem to affect the taste.
I’m going to look for some when I head to the store later today, hopefully they’ll still have some! This will totally freak my kids out.
