The response to the Cherry M&M’s and Twix Java giveaways have been absolutely amazing! Both have been submitted to online contest sites and I want to thank whomever did that!
Because the response has been so huge, I’m going to up the giveaway for the Cherry M&M’s to five bags given away instead of the initial three! So there will now be five winners for the M&M giveaway, the same as the Twix giveaway.

Easter is still over a month away but stores have had candy and decorations out for over a week now, so I figured I may as well too! Check out the poll over in the sidebar titled “Easter Chocolate Poll.” —>

The turn-out for this month’s contest was so big that I decided to use a random number generator program online instead of writing everyone down and pulling from a hat. I would say this saved me about an hour of work, at least!
First I stripped out all comments that said nothing more than “great shirt” or “I want to win” (methinks the directions weren’t read!) so that the chances for legitimate entries wouldn’t be skewed. I then entered in the total amount of valid entries and weblog links (which are counted as comments) into the generator.

I was excited to find an email in my inbox this morning saying that Chocolate Bytes has been entered into the Death by Chocolate contest at Culinate.com, and prompted me to choose a chocolate-related entry to submit.
