Trolling for Chocolate

I like surfing around the rest of the Home and Dining Channel and a few of the other sites have posted about chocolate or gadgets that could be used for chocolate:

torte

- Baking Delights has a recipe for homemade Whoopie Pies. I’ve got a slightly different one that I’ll need to dig out and post sometime soon. The kids have been bugging me for them (though I think they just like to say the name). Also check out the Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies and Chocolate Hazelnut Torte.

- I love the Silly Feet Cupcake cups that Cooking Gadgets posted about a little while ago. These would be fantastic for a birthday party or just an everyday cupcake fix.

- Tracey at Foodie Obsessed posted about a fun ice cream gadget that turns your ice cream for you. What’s your favorite flavor?

- Simply Thrifty has some great tips on removing stains, including one for chocolate! (No, “lick it” is not as effective as you might hope.)

Non-chocolate links that you should check out anyway:

- I love Julie’s Motivate Me Mondays at Declutter It. The most recent entry is actually pretty timely.

- Keeping the Castle has an article about online stores letting shoppers sample items. This gives me a brilliant idea! Yeah, yeah, I know.

- The only thing I can say to this at Mother Earth’s Garden is YUM. I really need to see how cherry tomatoes would do in my climate — I’m afraid the answer would be “not very well.”

- Stef at Noodles and Rice has a post about Amazon grocery. I haven’t ordered anything edible from Amazon yet, but they’re offering free shipping for $25+ orders, so I might just buckle.

- Jennifer just posted about this awesome teenage dream pad at Offbeat Homes. Damn, even as an *adult* that’s awesome!

- I like this funky little “green” car that Noel posted about in Unplugged Living.

Thanks Heather for the mention! You’re blog makes me oh so hungry. I really shouldn’t visit you after 9 o’clock at night. That’s always when I want chocolate for some reason! :)
