I’m surprised you hated it actually. While I didn’t like it, I didn’t dislike it either. It was..weird. And that’s the only real way I could describe it. I didn’t think it had a real strong bacon taste, more of a smokey taste. The flavor just didn’t seem right for chocolate, but it didn’t seem bad either.

Heather, thank you for the insightful review of the bacon bar. I thought maybe I was missing something when I tried it and had to spit it out. I love most of Katrina Markoff’s creations (like the Barcelona bar!) That being said, my friend Marge swears by the bacon bar. Seems it’s a love-it or hate-it experience

Hi Farley! You’re not alone! I did a search for other reviews to see what others thought and it’s really split down the middle. It’s such a unique taste and, frankly, a cool idea that I’m glad there are those who like it!

Hi Michele! If you’re able to get a sample sometime go for it and see what you think. The price tag is a bit on the ouchy side to try it and not end up liking it!

I don’t think I’ll be picking up one of these. I know you and I have a similar taste, so if you didn’t like it, I doubt I would.
