I bought some from Target. Put them in a candy dish at home before a holiday party. The first guest to try one spit it back out in the wrapper. I opened one to try it and it had mold on it. Gross. Took it back to Target and got my money back. Shoudl have known since the package looked like it was steeped on. Buyer beware!

Werther’s Original Caramel Chocolate, found one package and enjoyed them. However, can not find any more. Not at WalMart, Target, Harris Teeter, Giant, or Safeway. Guess they’re not pushing it very hard. Its not even mentioned on the Werther’s web site.

I completely agree – I’m not wasting anymore money on these when there’s much better stuff out there! I really wanted to like them too – I love the Werther’s hard candies and combining it with chocolate should have worked better than it did.

I tried them last year at All Candy Expo (even went to some elaborate launch party). No amount of free booze or crab cakes was going to convince me that these were fantastic.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re okay, but these days there are far better chocolate choices out there.
