For $299, you can have recipes at your fingertips! The Digital Recipe Reader, which looks a heck of a lot like the iPhone btw, is a touch-screen digital computer that holds up to 2500 recipes and even comes pre-loaded with a bunch of them.
You can upload your own recipes to the database, including photos if you want, and sync with the device.
The unit is splash-resistant and kitchen-safe, with 3 built-in kitchen timers, conversion tools for recipes, and a list of ingredient alternatives. So quite handy!
Available for pre-order only (NEW!), limited availability until January, 2009.

I think I have lust in my heart for that thing! (Jimmy Carter reference, I’m showing my age, huh) Oooh, what a cool gadget!
I need to know how to order one of the Demy touchscreen digital recipe readers. I am very interested as a gift for my brother.
Looks like they might not be available right now. I found the Demy site where you can sign up to be notified:

Demy just arrived and I’m very excited. Thank you for the post. Now I’ll go and cook something.
