Are you a health nut? An eater of flax? Why not keep it out and handy to put into more of your meals? We eat flax here at home every now and again, but we frankly forget it’s there, so more than anything this grinder would be that visual reminder to “eat flax!” I think I’d also like the flax better this way, as the raw flax is rather hard to eat and is so heavy it sinks to the bottom of my cereal.
