Potato Power – a clock for your kitchen

Really, you could put this clock anywhere you wanted, but the kitchen seemed the most appropriate to me! This Potato Power clock can use other fruits and vegetables too.

Finally, a chance to play with your food!

The Two Potato Clock allows you to generate enough electricity to run a digital clock – using potatoes! Just push the zinc and copper electrodes into the potatoes causing an oxidation/reduction reaction that is converted to low voltage.
