The Tomato Shark

tomato-sharkI wish I’d known about this inexpensive little gadget back when I was dealing with canning tomatoes and making sauce.  The Tomato Shark does just what the picture shows: it digs right in and removes the tough little stem end.   A happy reviewer points out that it can also be used to scoop out mushrooms for stuffing.  About $3, stainless steel.

And the bottom chunk of pears. Very handy tool.

Ooooo, yeah. Good point, thanks! Maybe strawberries too, although I just use a small spoon.
