Flight Attendant Shopping: Ron Jon Surf Shop

I was talking with a friend about surfing the other day (I don’t, she does) and it turns out that she had never been to one of my favorite shopping destinations — Ron Jon Surf Shop.
The Ron Jon’s at Cocoa Beach, with its 52,000 square feet of shopping and displays, has become nearly as popular a destination as the beach itself. In addition to a huge selection of surfboards, surfing accessories, and lots of beach and sun wear, the store also has a glass elevator and its own waterfall. Just wander around and you’ll find fun tourist stuff as well as goods for the serious water sports fan. There’s a great assortment of Ron Jon logo wear, too.
If you can’t find something to buy here, you’re just not trying hard enough!
The store is open 24/7 and features music and demonstrations. Parking is always free, and given its proximity to the Space Coast, the parking lot fills up fast for Space Shuttle launches.
How do you find Ron Jon’s? My first time there, I noticed lots of sign advertising the place. So I had to stop in. You can do the same, or just look for the gaudy, art deco-style castle and the corner of SR 520 and Highway A1A (Address: 4151 N. Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach). It’s only a block from the beach, so if you can find the ocean, you can find Ron Jon’s.

This is the best surf shop in the U.S.
It is a great surf shop, but it is also so much more! Lots of fun beach and water equipment and clothing. Fun, silly tourist stuff. Everything that you need (or didn’t know you needed) for a day lounging at Cocoa Beach!
i absolutely love ron jon’s..i go down there every time i go down to cocoa beach. they have everything you want and they have great clothing and swimsuits. its one of my all time favorite stores down at the beach.
