Goal Setting: I Need Your Help!

There ““ I said it! I pride myself on being fiercely independent, self-motivating, and beholden to few. But in this blogging world, we writers are very much, as Tennessee Williams wrote, “dependent upon the kindness of strangers.”
Oh sure, I know a few of you who are regular readers, or who comment or email occasionally, but the vast majority of you are strangers. And it is with that in mind, that I come asking for your help.
First, a little background:
Flyaway Café is part of b5media, a very fine, and diverse, group of blogs and bloggers. Because it’s an easy group to get along with, it’s also easy to forget that blogging at this level is also a business, and not just all fun and games. That’s especially easy to forget when you write about travel.
So it’s time for some business goal setting. Since I’m new to b5media (just two months now), it would be easy to use that as an excuse and set some wimpy goals. That’s never been my style, though. After much hemming and hawing, I’ve decided to set a goal of doubling readership by the end of June.
And this is where it gets back to asking you for help —
If you enjoy reading Flyaway Café (and I really hope that you do), chances are that you know someone else who would enjoy it too. I’m asking you to forward an article, pass along the URL, or email a link to someone you know who enjoys reading about travel. Don’t go spamming your entire address book! Just make a well thought out referral. . . or two.
Can you help me out here?
Can you help me double readership in the remaining days of the month?
I can’t do it without your help!

will do,
hope you reach your goal =)
Thanks for your help, Timothy. I really appreciate it!
Sure I’ll send it out. Hope it helps you reach your goal.
Thanks Rob! I really do appreciate it!
You got it! I mentioned you today.
Thanks Hsien, you’re a doll.
There is a theory the more you visualise your goals the more real the chance of success
I’m a big goal setter, and have always set goals, and then mapped out my action plans.
For some reason, however, I have never been big on visualization. I have friends who swear by the technique, and have used it successfully. For me, it just doesn’t seem to do the trick. I think I’m too much in the left brain.
