Matchbook Monday: Yakiniku Tokyo

Yakiniku_Matchbook

Today’s matchbook is a contribution from Shane who writes The Tokyo Traveler.

I wish that I could offer up a little more insight as to the location and cuisine of the restaurant, but you’ll have to follow her blogs posts to learn about the food of Tokyo.

Thanks for the contribution, Shane!

If you have a matchbook you’d like to have featured on Matchbook Monday, along with a little accompanying link love, you can email me your photos (along with any anecdotes that you care to share).

  1. Thanks Mary Jo! You’re welcome, and your timing is perfect. I just put up some info on Yakiniku on The Tokyo Traveler. (http://www.thetokyotraveler.com/yakiniku-get-your-grill-on/).

The food at this place was great and you can find Yakiniku almost anywhere these days. I just loved the graphic representation of the Japanese woman on this matchbook and it didn’t hurt that it was green - my favorite color!

  1. [...] Our favorite Yakiniku restaurant is located near the Makuhari-Hongo station, about 35 minutes from Tokyo. Check out the lovely design of the matchbook cover from the restaurant at Fly Away Cafe. [...]
