RCA Dome Deflation Changes Indianapolis Landscape

In just a hand full of seconds, the Indianapolis landscape changed, and all of those who have used the Hoosier Dome as a directional landmark have to come up with something new.
Take a look at the RCA Dome, still called the Hoosier Dome by many, deflated.
I’ve seen an implosion of a building, but never a deflation.

It actually took between 30-45 minutes to fully deflate. Having lived in Indianapolis for the past 10 years or so and a regular visitor before that, seeing the Indy skyline without the familiar white pillow is really different. Love the new Lucas Oil Stadium though. Now if only we could do something about the Pacers.

Yeah, I know it took a lot longer than a few seconds in “real” life. I just like the time lapse version when it happens in the snap of a finger.
