Still Time to Plan a Fall Foliage Drive

It’s not too late to take in this year’s beautiful colors of fall.
The unseasonably warm weather in most parts of the country has delayed the burst of color of the fall foliage. In talking to friends around the country, it seems that we are a week or two behind the normal foliage schedule. That’s certainly the case here in Seattle, where leaves have started to turn color and drop in just the past few days.
You’ve probably got a few weeks left to enjoy the foliage, so check out the CNN foliage map and make plans for a getaway drive. (NOTE: I’d recommending adjusting the time frames on the map by a couple weeks.)
Once again, I’m not in New England this time of year, but maybe next year I’ll be able to enjoy a fall drive in that part of the world.
