Sunrise, Sunset

We’ve just passed the summer solstice, which means that the days are getting shorter again. Infinitesimally shorter, right now, but shorter.
A friend passed along information about Sunrise Sunset customized calendars, an interesting web site that will show you the sunrise time and the sunset time for locations around the world. I’ll be in Phoenix next week, and see that sunrise will be at about 5:20 am, and sunset at about 7:42 pm.
Print out a calendar to take with you when you’re traveling, and use it as a guide if you don’t want to be out by yourself after dark.
Perhaps more fun would be to use the information to plan a perfect romantic evening, sipping champagne and watching the sunset. Or the sunrise. Whichever suits your fancy. Or the fancy of the person you’re with.

Did a check at the website and the sunrise here in Singapore will be pretty late at 7:01am and sunset at 7:11pm.
Great tip, Mary Jo! I’ll be sure to take a look at that calendar next time we travel. Or even when we’re not traveling, just to find out what time the sun rises or sets in the Philippines, for instance.
Very cool resource!
